ABOUT ELVAR GUNNARSSON

Elvar Gunnarsson is an Icelandic writer, director and cinematographer. His debut film It Hatched premiered at Austin Film Festivals opening night. Elvar has directed music videos for internationally known artists, winning international awards and even cracking the 100 million view mark with a single video on YouTube.
Aside from directing and writing, Elvar has taught and done administrative work at the Icelandic Film School. He’s also held a number of film related lectures, screenings and used to run Iceland’s number 1 cult video store.
